PAFF 2018 & Black Panther Premiere: Red Carpet Looks
Hi Guys,
I finally got a chance to settle down after casting my final episode of Season 4 of For My Man on TvOne and returning from L.A. Our film "Cut My Hair Barber" by Patrick James Thomas starring me as "Saundra Alexander" was an Official Selection in the 26th Annual Pan African Film Festival (PAFF) that took place at the Rave Cinemas Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza 15 + Xtreme, Los Angeles, CA.
I had been super stoked about this for months because it was just my second time in L.A. and had always dreamed of walking on the red carpet. With the Black Panther Premiere happening also, I couldn't wait to get started shopping for Ankara Fashion. Ankara styles come in a variety of prints and colors and can be worn to almost any occasion, such as red carpet events, weddings and proms to name a few. I put together two red carpet looks inspired by African Culture. I hope you guys enjoy this trip to Wakanda.
Day 1 Red Carpet Look: African Print Maxi by Shenbolen purchased on Amazon. If you are looking for a great way to stand out, this dress is it. It's colorful, great material and perfect for the occasion. I paired this dress with my Chase & Chloe Red Python Thigh High print boots, Fedora from Nine West and Louis Vuitton Wristlet Clutch that I scored at the thrift store.
